Alright! I Have 2 Ref Sea Reef Wave 45s. I Was originally able to connect with one of them without proplems. I Was never able to connect with the second one.

I've been in contact with Red Sea for over a month know on and off. They haven't been much help and seem to not know what to do. They have been very nice for wait it is worth. They went me a new control for the one I'm not able to connect too. The new control didn't help. On top of that now I'm not able to connect to the othere one.

I thought it was my router, it was almost 10 years old... so I bought a new one. My new router is a NetGear Nighthawk if that matters to you. That didnt seem to help. I've tried 2.5 and 5.o ghz settings. I've reset my reef waves, reinstalled Reef Beats, took the battery out of the controller and still not able to connect.

I enter the password when I select the individual reef wave in the WiFi setting, then I get a password error. I was told to enter the word "passward" all lower case into the passward line to override my original passward. Did this and still get passward error.

I been trying with my Samsung Note. It ask me if I want to switch WiFi connection. I've tried with my Samsung tablet as well and still cant connect. I've been able to set up several other things just not the reef waves.

I'm at a complete loss on what to do. I'm really happy with the wave makers. But for the money I was expecting to be able to use the app. I'm expecting it has something to do with my phone or network. But I would expect Red Sea to be able to help me out more than they have. Again they have been very nice and have been trying to help.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks!

So my phone defaults to the 5.o ghz WiFi network.

I chatted with netgear and they recommend to set up a quest WiFi network under 2.4 ghz setting. Ater that I was able to connect to both Reef waves with very little proplems.

Hopefully this helps someone out if having the same proplems.
