I'm certain we would have moderators on the meetup just so you could meet some of the mod team and moderate chat or whatever else. Usually, when we have done live streams in the past (partner drive live drawing), we will have moderators just to make sure everything stays family-friendly!

I probably should have used the term “host or “MC” to be more clear. Sorry.

I'd be onboard for this. Too bad on the choice of platform, but that stems from me working professionally during the pandemic to provide large scale remote productions through Microsoft Teams.

Maybe have a schedule of topics that we all discuss with some time limit rules but generally just a laid back discussion?

That’s cool with me, but other people may not want to be watched by the public. I’d definitely specify that ahead of time if it will be recorded.

There are many, many ways to facilitate an online event, i.e. who can join, what the attendee can/cannot do, if mic or camera is allowed, multiple social network distribution sources and live feeds occurring real time in parallel of each other, content sharing, recording, post processing, and making available online in multiple formats. One only requires the vision of what they would like the follower to consume and everything else can fall in line.
