Took 300$ with me just because my tank is packed and figured that would keep me from going off.
Was in and out of there in an hour (had to work) and ended up with 7 nice frags of good size with a few what some would call a mini colony. I dont pay attention to names much but I remember one being called a red dragon. The fat millie is my favorite as it's really colorful although my phone pics dont really do any of them much justice. If any one has an Id for some feel free to enlighten me. Now to make some room for them in a couple weeks when I take em off the frag rack. Thinking of going back for a quickie tomorrow just to pick up some more of those mini colony frags for the great prices.

Nice pieces. That Milli you’re talking about looks like one of the ASD rainbow millis that LOA was selling, which like you said, looks even better in person.
I think your red dragon is actually a red planet.

Congratulations on the new frags! I know that it was a quick stop, but was there anything else that caught your eye at the show (equipment, art, fish, other corals)?

Didnt have the time to pay attention, I did notice alot of tiny frags of all types of corals. With the time I had I just zoned in on larger acro frags I liked.

I noticed the same thing in Orlando with the number of micro frags. I remember thinking that if someone had the time to sort through those frags in the middle of all of the hustle then there probably were some real finds if you know what you are looking at.

Ya there were certain vendors with all tiny frags at premium prices. I'm tempted to go back after work, I'm sure I could score some nice mini colony acro frags for an even better deal as it gets close to ending that I saw yesterday.

I managed to get a 3 branch Pink Floyd for 150. Each branch is easily over 1". Super happy about it.

I got it (and a OG Oregon tort) from Law Office Aquariums. I've bought from him at previous Reefapalooza. Always a small tank but always large frags that are super healthy.

Speaking of which. Anyone know this guy's website? I forgot to get the info.

Anyway, I won't say how much I spent overall but I came home with 23 frags and a medium sized clam.... Going to be eating a lot of Ramen noodle soup for the next month lol

Good luck! If you do make it back then please let us know how it turns out either way!

This is the first year I went on day one. End of day Sunday is always the best 'cause people want to offload what they can before they travel back. Always a good idea to go later

I remember, YEARS ago, a guy tried to sell me a 8 inch bright yellow/gold hammer for ~300-400. I think it was originally listed for ~600+. He went all the way down to 200 and I wasn't even trying to bargin! He really wanted to get rid of it. I had no idea how special it was and am still kicking myself for not nabbing that one.

I always liked some of the stuff at law office. I just checked his site and there is a $10,000 cab malificent fragment? Why on earth is this red acro so expensive?

Where did you get the Pink Floyd from? That’s a good deal, I was looking at one that was 3/4” and he wanted $80
