I need some assistance on creating a schedule through the reefbreeders app.
this is a struggle for me. I don't understand why though.
got the light synced up with my app, lights finally came on after fighting with it.....
created a number of schedules but none seemed to do anything.
started with a brand new schedule. set up my time on/time off. all good there.
got to the light intensity sections. set up my segments with times and intensity %. placed everything where I wanted them, got to the end and hit save/update. lights didnt change. went back into the schedule I just created and all my sliders are back down to 30%, across the board. Did this several times with the same results. grrrrrrr
went into manual mode, and was able to change light % there with no issues. only thing was that I lose the manual settings once I close that screen. so manual mode doesn't do much for me. but I could at least get the colors to adjust.
decided to use a schedule that a community member created. copied it in, edited it for my needs, and that didn't work. Was able to adjust time on/off, but the light intensities could not be changed to what I wanted. They kept resorting back to the member's schedule that I started with. right now, I am using that schedule cause I at least have blues. little too blue for my liking but its better than what I had.
it's definitely operator error. I remember having the same issues with the AI LED lights I used to have.
why can I not adjust my light intensity and it stick once saved? why do my intensities keep going back to 30%?
does anyone else use the app with the same light? run into these problems?
