Cool video, thanks for sharing. Anyone know if you can use their controllable dimmer to dim a pair of techs down enough for moonlights?

that halide fixture since it was cool to the touch... how much heat was the light giving off from the bulb? is that affected at all if the fixture is cool to the touch? We all know with metal halide the heat it gives off is a bit excessive

I do not want to quote it wrong but if u have time call or email tulio and he will gladly answer ur questions. Now I'm paraphrasing from my convo with him but his metal halide does not produce hardly any heat it's more like the heat off of a LED light

Right there is no heat coming off the bulb or fixture. Tullio has developed a MH ballast that is 98% efficient.
Example I am getting the 150 watt fixture and it draws just 1.25 amps and it is replacing a Radion G3 Pro using 3 amps

You can use the current usa dimmable controller. Works on reefbrites

And he is probably the nicest guy to talk to.
One of the few owners of a company that will take the time out of his day and just chat to u about lights or anything to do with reefing
And joy as well
Seriously shoot him an email u won't be disappointed

WHAT?.............................I'm not too knowlegable about lighting, but my dumb question is... given the decrease in amperage does that affect the intensity or the par of the bulb?
If u have questions he will answer them
