Reefbrite Twin Arc

I am wondering if anyone has used these bulbs before.. how good are they and so forth... i like the fact that you can change from 10k to 20k or even have 12k and 22k any combo you like... i need to get new lights soon just trying to find more user details... thanks

I used the dual arc 20k and 20k and I loved mine!!!!!

I ran two 14/20K there be for I went to LEDs. I liked it for the most part. A few times I caught a bulb not firing right. One side of the tank would be 14k and the other 20k

That had to look odd... but a easy fix lol just undo one and plug it in and turn it off put it back on... i was thinking of going with the 12k 22k

Not even that. I just turned the bulb off with the apex for a min. When it refired it would fire the 20k spectrum.

What I noticed about the bulbs is when the bulb was cold it would always fire the 14k spec first. The bulb had to be hot in order to fire the 20k. Witch means to me that these bulbs are ment to be fired twice a day.

Well thats good to know thanks :) i don't have controllers :( everything is manual for me old fashion. Plus my Ballast is a 500watt with 2 outlets i dont have a ballast for each bulb
