I have one for a Red Sea reefer 350 build I’ll be starting up in the next few weeks
Anyone have any experience with it? Thoughts
Also whats a good light y’all use w it
I have a 6500k grow cfl light, would that work?

No experience with the baffle but the bulb should work ok. The problem will likely be limited output which may lead to underwhelming results. You could always add multiple or find a bulb that more closely target specific usable PUR output. Side note, how did you get your hands on that baffle? I’d love one myself but the store is down due to shipping/production issues.

I was lucky enough to find a local guy sell it on Craigslist brand new
I’ll have to check out another light
Any recommendations for good value?

Frank, if you have a 6 tube, 125w 6400k CFL grow lamp then they are probably the best lights to grow macro algae with.

Mine grows a 1.5x1.5ft refugium solidly, 1.5ft to the bottom with green growth.

Ah, ok. In that case, you will likely need a better light. I’m using one of these

I have the same tank and baffle kit. I use an Eshopps refugium light, compact size and works great.

Baffle fits perfectly and works well, gives the sump a nice clean look, much nicer than using egg crate. The only drawback is skimmer space is tight.

Has ReefDreams started producing these baffle kits again? Every time I check, they are out of stock. Anybody know where to get these ( or something similar)?
