Not sure why a little noise would hurt. I use it to drown out the 20 other voices I have in my head. Plus the fish make more sense than I do.;Nailbiting

Considering to start a new tank in my bedroom. This will finally be the most silent tank ever. But I guess being quite always comes at certain costs for hardware
What parts did you use to change this out, sized, etc. mine has already failed once in under a two year time spanChange out the plumbing (valve) and it should be almost silent, mine is.
