The aquarium bug hit hard this time and has resulted in my first marine system. However, I am not off to a great start, After adding the recommend amount of Dr Tims and ammonia over the past few days I tested my water and found the ammonia is off the charts. I am replacing ~200L of water this morning hoping that will cut down the ammonia to manageable levels for the bacteria. Ill keep the updates coming.

The tank has been up and running for about a month now cycled for 2 weeks.

Kessil ap700 went in about a week ago, running at 20% ramping to 50% over the next 2 weeks.

I'll be interested on how the 2 Nero 5's perform in your tank...I have a similar layout, but just a couple Hydor 1500's that I can't control enough. How's the magnet holding ?...You've got it on the back, so 12mm, yes ?

The 2 neros are epic! I can only run them at 50% or else it spins up the sand bed to much, they are powerful! I really notice how good the flow is when feeding mysis, you can see the particles mixed well throughout the tank and completely gone in a few minutes. No problems with the magnets, they could be a bit stronger. I haven't had any algae issues I think due to good flow. I would highly recommend them.

Drilled out the ato tank and made a refugium from it, looks like it should work really well. I will post some pics of it soon.

Change the aquasccape to two separate cave structures. Have about a dozen corals now and the refugium almost ready to go
