Where do you have the hydros water level sensor mounted for your klir and how are you liking that setup?

I love the klir! It is awesome and kicking myself for not doing this auto changing filtersock thing earlier. It was easy to set up and coralvue has helpful videos on how to set it up if you need help. I have it hooked up to a hydros controller 4, which makes it easy to control. I highly recommend getting one

It has been a while and the tank has had some swings As expected when you set up a new tank. Things have finally settled and I have found the dosing regiment that works to keep parameters stable. Corals are now growing well and getting colors back. Will try to post pictures soonish.

Also I bought a 3D printer and it is game changing for this hobby. I think of something I need, design it and poof it is printed. Plus there is a cool thread on reef2reef that has already made programs that are very plug and print for all kinds of reefing things. Here are some things I made already. Individual shelves for Kamoer dosing pumps, tube organizer brackets and frag plug holders. I love this thing. The sky is the limit. Best $200 I have spent in a while.

Quick update, i added a calcium reactor about 7months ago and everything has been great! Really stable and growth has been good, still working on getting the colors i want out if the corals. But i feel like it is a lighting issue so just wrote a new lighting program for the xr15’s. Wish me luck

Welp the red sea 450 started to separate at the upper corner and after watching it grow over the course of a year i decided not to risk it and ordered a tank from Crystal Dynamics. The new tank is amazing, such good quality and well built. Starboard reinforced bottom, armored seams all around, 1/2inch glass all around, euro bracing on top with smoked reinforced glass, 60”Lx20”Dx24”tall, internal center overflow. Pics are of what they sent me when it was ready to ship.

Unfortunately i cannot find any photos of the rebuild of the stand top or of the unpackaging of the tank. But here is what everything looks like now.

Also i was tired of blue light flooding the adjacent rooms so i designed and 3d printed these shades for xr15’s held on by magnets. They work great.

I love your scapes. I took a few screen shots so I could copy your pile of flat rock swim through on the 450. You should be proud of your tanks - they are beautiful.

Update on the tank. I have re aquascaped and added some things. I built a fuge and have been running that for ph stability. I also added 2 helix led bars from Quanta. Great quality and controllable through hydros.
