hay reef 2 reefers
i'am living in Belgium.
3years ago i started with my first tank ( red sea reefer 250)
now i moved to a new bigger house so i needed also i bigger tank :)

this is the reefer 525xl
brutto water volume is 525 liters
netto water volume with the rock, sandbed and Equipment is 490liters
i am running on balling light, for me one off the simplest methode to run a tank
i use also other products like
kz Coral vitalize
kz iodine
fauna marin aminos for lps and sps

equipment:
bubble king 180 mini ( one off the best skimmers but exspansive)
3 media reactors; 1 with seachem matrix
1 with kz actif carbon
1 not in use these one is in case i need to use rowapos or bio pellets
heating and cooling happens with the teco 500 its just the limit for my thank this was the old one from my reefer 250
2 jebao return pumps : 1 for the 3 reactors and chiller
1 for the return to the aquarium
i want later this year change the pumps to royal exclusief red dragon pumps
1 ato system from tunze

i had 2 gyre xf 250 but these things are so powerfull that i removed one
if the tank gonna be more full with sps maybe than i need him back
so for no one 1 xf 250 gyre

light: 8x80 giesemann t5

apex new generation
breakout box
1 link module
2 dos
2 apex dos containers
in the future when its accesble here in Belgium i buy also the fmk from apex and the pmk
the last one in for juin
and one bigg screen for montoring the tank

the scape was done with real reef rock its very euasy to make i nice scape with it
so thats al about it
now fill in the tank slowly with corals and fish

Nice set up! Did you swap out your Giesemann 8x80 T5 fixture for a different Giesemann hybrid fixture?

Awesome set up. I lot the tv idea, and how clean everything looks. I'm going to have to get the wife in on letting me do that screen setup. It's probably the coolest thing to walk in and "BAM" stats right in your face. Great job love it.

hehe thank you
Indeed that makes an extra wow effect next to the aquarium
its looks more "industriaal" than a simple iPad or i Phone

Interested in doing a similar controller section. Do you have any plans etc. So I could replicate?
