Reefer-s 1000 lighting

I’m upgrading my Reefer 450 to either the Reefer-S 1000 or 850… leaning toward the 1000. What are people running for lights on the 1000 for an sps heavy mixed reef?

I currently have radions in an aquatic life T5 unit, but the longest size is 5 feet. Would it be best to do two 3’ units?

You could always look at the new Neptune SKYs, but you probably don’t want to mix your main LEDs and may just want to add more Radions.

I’d probably wait until they’re in the market longer. If I went away from radions I’m most curious about the Phillips Coralcare lights… so hard deciding this stuff!

I got ATI Stratons for my S-1000. Waiting for the right anchors (Fisher Duopower) to mount them to my concrete ceiling. Currently the tank has some Radions transferred over from previous tank (625XXL) as placeholder

Nice! I’d love to hear how you think the color compares to the radions

I like the Phillips, especially after seeing Battlecorals have done well with them, but after researching it looks like they might be more white than I'm looking for

Thinking at this point that I might just go for a 60" Aquatic Life with my existing radions, and keep the low light things on the ends

Very satisfied with the Stratons. Completely changes the tank. I had radions before, and I really like these over the Radions a lot.
