Reefer XXL 750 Sump Drillable?

I'm thinking of going with an external return pump, but that means I need a hole in the sump. Is the sump that comes with the system tempered glass or can it be drilled?

Hi, did you get your question answered? I own one and looking to drill the sump on the 750 xxl.

Sorry, no I didn't get a firm answer. I decided to go a different route instead.
