I’m curious to hear user reviews. These would be going in my bashea biofuge sump (the smallest 24-19-14) for my 55gal.

I can tell Redsea has a lower advertised flow rate but that might not be a big issue. I can also tell the sensors are similar but the ReefFactory seems to have an electric float sensor. I have a ReefFactory Reef Flare Pro already. So +1 for not having to get a new app.

But honestly thought I was gearing towards the RedSea250 forever and always. It sounded like it would be more reliable and the sensor has no moving parts. BUT what do you guys think if you own either of these? What are some things you didn’t think you’d like or dislike about either? User friendly, etc. etc. do the media baskets slide out either way or only from one side? Anything helps! Thanks!

FWIW ReefMat500 is too big for the compartment.
