I decided to connect the unit to the computer so I could change some settings. When I did this, the PH went from 7.85 to 8.23. What would cause this? I would like the PH to be 8.23. I've had to calibrate the probe several times because it would change PH the next day. When I saw the PH jump to 8.23 when connecting to the computer I checked with a liquid PH tester and it showed 8-8.2.

Could it be a loose wire on the probes end? And when you connected to the module you bumped the wire causing it to make a better connection? I only ask because I had a similar issue on mine with my temp probe. As you wiggled the wires you could watch the temp rise and drop 5 degrees as you wiggled it. Got a new probe and the issue went away.
