Sorry I missed your message. so your timer needs to be 10 minutes on and 170 minutes off time. have it run 8 times a day this way. So, on your Archon, Choose a new timer. Start time of 0:0:0 AM. (midnight). On for 0:10:0. off for 2:50:0 Repeat 8 times
that should have it kick on 8 times for 10 minutes with a 2 hour and 50 minute off time.

RKE shoudl be much the same setup.

Just a quick question. Can you use the Itemp probe with the DA Elite V2? I have both the SL1 and SL2 modules? But am trying to opt out of using the SL1 to sve space, less wiring etc. I know with the Lite using a PB4 and a Sl1 module the ITemp was in the drop downs in MyReef 2.0 when setting up a heater. Not requiring you to use the "Temp" probe. Hope I'm asking this correctly

The Elite does not support the iTemp. The iTemp connects to a temp port located in the RKL head unit. This was done to allow you to be able to use the RKL with a power bar to control temp without having a SL module. The SL2 module has a temp port and you will need one on that module if you plan to use the salinity port. The only difference between the iTemp probe and the temp probe is the connector.
