If I do a factory reset to the ReefKeeper, does the Temp, PH, and Salinity probe need to be recalibrated with each reset or are those settings saved indefinitely?
Thanks :)

I wouldn't think you would have to re-calibrate the probes after a reset, but I do not know for certain on the RK. If you have some calibration fluid, it would be easy enough to check them after you reset it.

That will not clear the calibration data on the RKE or RKL. It is kept in the modules. The module order will change unless you add the modules back to the system one at a time in the order you want them. All the programming will be erased. Why do you want to do a factory reset?

picked the unit up used. Calibrated the ph probe but then realized I wanted to do a reset to start fresh with programming. And didnt know if it would effect my calibration or not. I'm very new to controllers lol

Any time you do a firmware update you will need to do a reset to factory defaults. You may also want to download myReef from the DA website. You will need it eventually. You can also program and rename the modules and ports via myReef. You will need a windows compatible computer though. Since the firmware has not been updated on the head units or modules for a while you should be already on the current firmware versions.

Yup already got myreef and did all the updates and my programming with my laptop. So much easier than doing it on the remote display :)
