The needles are longer than most needs, like veterinary or hospitals .1 1/2 seems to be longest . Making it pretty hard to find . I tried talking to couple people in China on Alibaba.com they kept showing me Cannula Needles 50 mm long 23g . RK said they could meet at RAP but unfortunately I won’t be able to go

I gave up searching for the needles .. closets I found was 21g 50mm long . On the bright side . I since have got Po4 Giesseman test to work .. I had to keep CAlibrating the Ro and Sample Each like 8 times even tho after 2-3 looked good . Than my testing was coming back more accurate

I ran into a problem.
My calcium #2 was empty or at least too empty to test. I added reagent to both 1 and 2 and put the vials back into the reefbot.
I ran a calcium test at 10:30pm last night and got a reading of 220ppm............Woah!
I ran another test at 5:01am this morning and got a reading of 520ppm............Woah!!
I ran a 3rd calcium test at 5:50am this morning and got a reading of 20ppm....WOAH!!!

I ran an Alk test to try to make sure that I was getting water in the test and RO vials.
1st Alk test came back at 9 dkh. This was at 7:25am
2nd Alk test came back at 7 dkh. This was at 10am

This is a HIGH consumption frag tank. It's 20 gallons with LARGE monticaps and a LARGE chalice and a smallish clam among other corals but to go from 9 dkh to 7 dkh inside of 2.5 hours?

I'm a little concerned.

Try recalibrating your test chamber and ro chamber. Also compare it to manual testing.

I compared the calcium to a manual test this morning after getting those crazy numbers. Manual test came up with 400ppm using the same reagent.
Can't re-calibrate till I get home from work but honestly, the Alk was not far off. That's one of the reasons I did the Alk tests to see if I get bizarre readings from the test vial or R/O not filling up.

I put a ticket in with Reef Kinetics and will check the Reefbot more in depth when I get home from work.

What kits are you using? If your alk only uses 1 reagent, but your Ca uses 2 reagents, it could be your that your RO rinse chamber calibration might be off (it has to rinse out the syringe/needle between reagents) which might explain why alk is ok, but Ca is off.

I agree with puffy127 . Seems when mine was reading wrong the calibration was slightly off

Well....
I'm feeling pretty stupid right about now.

I got home from work and checked the ReefBot to find that I had the reagents reversed. #1 in the 2 slot and #2 in the 2 slot.

Needless to say I am retesting as I type this.

I still have a problem but this is a different problem.
So I tried to run a calcium test and the Reefbot performed the test but the app did not work correctly.
The all said the test would take 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The machine does what it does in the regular amount of time but on the app, the test never completes itself.
I tried with alk too boy got the same thing.
This morning I unplugged the rrefbot for a minor and plugged it back in hoping it would reset or something. I tried to run a test but got the same 1 hour and 15 minutes time on the app.
The machine ran the test as it should but again, the app never completed the test saying "in progress"

I also have Red Sea Alk and Mag test reagents on the way.

Service back to normal following disruption.

There was an issue with one of our servers that was resolved.

I just ran a calcium test and it came back with 20ppm.
Something is wrong.

I will run an alk test to see if something is wrong there as well.
