Well it seems if you have a new Mac with the 'c' usb, the reef link won't be working if you need to reformat. Spoke to rep who says Apple is doing things within their system, the new adaptors won't read through from the reef link to Mac. In this case it's a MacBook Pro. Maybe this speaks well for Mac and their security, I don't know. To fix this you'll have to find, borrow a pc to use the reef link setup. To do go to ecosmartlive.com and go to reef link setup. At this point this reef link is no longer in my account. Reeflink is an older device, maybe it's time for Ecotech to step up and come out with a newer device that plays well or move on to another manufacturer.

No, it’s not. I ended up getting someone with a pc to come to my home and reformat the thing. Since then I’ve connected it to the router to stay connected. Funny, it was staying connected fine before all this. I’m wondering if they sent an update out which messed it up. It is what it is at this point.
