I’ve been using the same Red Sea reefmat for about 2 months and at first it was working totally well. About halfway through the roll u noticed consumption rate went up from about 30inches a day to 180inches. Progressively it kept getting worse till water started spilling over the sides. Thinking it was a fleece inconsistency I purchased a new roll. Just installed it and it has the exact same issue.

Anyone know why or how to solve?

What is your auto advance length setting at?

Do you carbon dose?

Is it possible that your tank load has changed? Added more fish, have some kind of algae blow etc.

Get in touch with red sea support. They are always helpful (at least here in Oz).
