Hello, I recently received my new reefer 350 g2+ max and nearly 5 days later the return pump which is a reefrun 5500 dc pump failed. The power supply nearly melted and shut itself down. All my other controllers are working which are on the same circuit.

Has anyone had issues with the power supply on their pump burning up?

Did you contact Red Sea? It must be under warranty :-)

Very unfortunate for you, I hope it's not a common issue, fingers crossed!

I don’t have a spare. I suppose the silver lining is that I’m doing a fishless cycle and have nothing in the tank.
