The journey begins. Standard 20 gal long tank. Fiji diy, siliconed it in place for better or worse. Crushed Florida coral on the way. Glowrium light 30” tested and ready. Early next week I’m going put sand in and transfer the most of rock and inhabitants from 10 gallon.

It's on the desk has crushed coral substrate, water in and pump on. Trying to clear the white cloud from crushed coral. Picking up lid tomorrow. Will then replace filters add live rock and seeded media.

The cloudiness will likely disappear over night or in the next few hours. It takes a while.

Following along! For your aquascape, I would make it higher! You have plenty of room to add more rock.

I wish someone could remind while I'm shopping that if it the coral looks all red and variants of red in the showroom it will be brown at home under normal lights. 🙃

Bought some frag's took them off the plugs. 2 didn't come off clean hope they make it won't cry if 2 turns into 4.

It is pretty cool they make a 30" Fixture with how many 20/29 gallons are out here.

I guess this tank is now officially my Quarantine tank primarily because if something goes wrong it's easy for me remove stuff catch fish etc. Rock work is as modular as I can make it and with only 3 fish it's less risky. I say this because I brought home some corals and the seller had velvet in a tank 10 weeks ago. Not in the system from which I bought corals but none the less I didn't want to put them directly in the 50. Well the little 20 will look super stocked for the next few weeks.

Well as long as I'm quarantining figured I should add a few more pieces so that way I can choose what to move up to the 54 corner. No coral shaming please as there is only a 2 on the other side you can't see.

And I wanted a saltwater mollys. So well see how they do so far they are all eating if that means anything.
