I have been looking at the reef wave 25 and 45s and are pretty set on getting a pair of either. I am running a Cade 1200, 454 (just under 120g) display volume. Will be SPS dominant. I am not sure which of these two get, eventually, as corals grow out, I will get smaller pumps to put onto the back. Could anybody help me with my decision please? (money not an object here)

Went with the RW25 (110 gallons), looking back now wished I would have bought the RW45.

If you're going SPS / Acro dominate, then a pair of the RW45s

Reefbeat app has been wonderful!!

Hehe. Yeah I went with a pair of the 45s.

Really like the app. It's why I went with them over the maxspect.

Ruining my future one piece of tech at a time

You shouldn't be disappointed with the 45's. I have two 25's on a 50 gallon pentagon and I'm very pleased with their performance. I have two MP10s but honestly there not as dependable as the Reefwave. I have 3 wet sides (MP10s) and all have suffered from shaft sleeve failures. Very disappointing purchase.

The Reefwave is dead silent, and easy to clean.

I have 2 RW25s on my Reefer 250 (54b gal display). I do like them. Defiantly go with the 45s on that size tank.
I have a 250 as well with 2 mp10s and a wav pump. I am thinking about getting 2 of the RW and replace the wav pump it’s way to big. How are the pump going on your tank? Any issues with app or cleaning? Do you think the 45s would be to much?

25s are more than enough. Max I go is 70%. Haven't cleaned them yet. 3 months. App is great. I adjust about every 3 hrs, and slow at night. RS stuff is cool.
