I have a RS Max E170 and I just upgraded wave maker to the reefwave25 and just trying to find a good location for it. It’s currently at 20% power and it’s picking up some of my sand. Any suggestions on placement?

I have one on each end of my 60" tank and I have them about 3 inches below the surface of the water. No sand I run them at about 30% on a ramp. No sand and no sucking water from the surface. I also have two Octo Pulse 2 at the mid point mid point and I also run them at about 40 %. The gyres produce a very noticeable rotation. Another option is to run them in reverse.
