I have a question about refugiums. The other day I added a small basket of chaeto into my 22 gal long reef tank. I rinsed and inspected the chaeto in my quarantine tank before adding to my display tank. The following morning, all my hermit crabs died! However, all corals, fish and snails seemed unaffected. Is there any reason for their deaths?

Hey cab - i dont know for sure why, but i do know that crabs need a stable specific gravity. Did perhaps a change in that happen while you were adding chaeto?
