Do you have to run a Refugium light at night time? Or does it just need to be ran when the tank lights are off? Is there a recommended gap between the two lighting schedules? Thanks for the help in advance!

Some people run theirs opposite of tank light to try to level out PH fluctuations, some people run them 24/7 , I personally found that after running mine 24/7 , that it was too efficient at reducing nutrients, so I scheduled mine to come on an hour before tank light went out and go off an hour after tank light came back on ,. Was on about 14-15 hours a day
