refugium plants

Hello
I have got a plant ( I don’t know the name of it ) from a shop and used it in my refugium and it’s growing like weed, have to remove some every other week, but I see most of the people using Chetoo which not what I have ,
Is there any benefit of changing or looking for chetoo ? Or it doesn’t matter ?

Any plant would work. Yours looks like Bladderwrack but I can't tell from the picture.

Looks like some kind of caulerpa. I dont like chaeto I always go for caulerpas for the mass of my refugium its the "heavy lifter" in them. It grows quick and there for removes the most when you harvest. Just keep on doing what you are doing!
