So recently I started cycling my tank and accidentally added way to much ammonia chloride to the point where it is at 8ppm, so as I wait for my tank to cycle I wanted to know if I could try to start establishing a copepod population. I wanted to add chateo to the sump so the copepods could hide there and I would add phyto for the copepods and chateo gro for the chateo, but will 8ppm ammonia kill the copepods or chateo? And will the chateó remove any ammonia in the tank? Most importantly, will doing this disturb the cycle? Thanks in advance.
