Refugium ??

Hoping that I put this in the correct forum . When do you thin out the growth in your refugium . When plant get to the point you cannot see into tank any more , or do you prune often and keep in thinned out. Thanks

Once its got no room to grow. Cut it back, or preemptive cut back, just before it runs out of room.
