Does any one have any pictures of their regal 150 INT(or larger) skimmer installed in their sump? i am upgrading from my old outdated skimmer and it has an extra tube feeding into it which i don't i think to use for the reef octo.

any help with how yours looks is great.

I have a Regal 150SSS. Ignore the CO2 scrubber as i am not running that any longer. Do these help?
The air intake tube (white) is the only tube.

Yes the intake is out of the water at the top of the small clear tube. The outtake is under the water and controlled by gate valve. You can see the gate valve in the bottom of the second picture. Make sure you read the recommend water depth for the skimmer. I think mine might be at 8 inches but don't recall off hand.

No. I run the scrubber in the winter to help raise my PH. My tank is in the basement and i have no access to fresh air to raise my PH so I attached the scrubber to the skimmer to get the air of more wet O2.

I currently use the co2 scrubber. last summer I had no issues with CO2 at all. then this year I couldn't get my ph to be stable. just kept dropping and rising a little during the day and then drop even more at night. and then rise a little bit during the day and drop even more at night. so the co2 scrubber is working....the major drop there on aug 25 at noon. I did a wc and then had a really hard time getting my skimmer working. great tool when it works.
