Regarding my flame angel

Hi all, I have a flame angel last week and i got my fish on Saturday and the fish went right to my quarantine tank., the fish is healthy

since then the fish has not eaten anything I have tried everything mysis, artemia, pellets, fauna marine ocean plankton., but no luck.,

Any advice is helpful

Live foods.
Clams from the grocery store, freeze them or shuck them to get them to open.

Mine goes absolutely insane over Reef Frenzy, but I not sure it's available in Norway. If not, I'd 100% agree with the post above. Get him eating with fresh food, then start to introduce whatever it is you plan to feed regularly if you don't want to continue with live/fresh seafood.

Are any meds being used? Most common meds can suppress appetite

No medications are done yet, just observation in quarantine tank

Get him some raw clams (fish market) or live pods. I start all my wild caught flames off on live atlantic arthropods and raw clams. Eventually I Thow in the pellets with the arthropods and they start to eat it. Its a process. Since this happened to you, next time you purchase a fish, make sure you watch it eat. Anyone selling you a fish should be able to show you that fish eating. There is nothing wrong with asking, We work very hard for our money and purchase fish to make us happy not to stress us out if that makes sense. If i can help you in any way reach out.
