Remove sponge?

Should I remove this (what I think is a) sponge from the base of my goni?

Looks like a pineapple sponge. Harmless filter feeder that won’t interfere with the Goni

That’s a pineapple sponge and you want those in your tank…if you get too many, dump some in the sump!
