Removing cyphastrea from a plug to remount

Can I use a single sided razor blade to remove this Cyphastrea to remount it?
 
Yes it should pop right off....just dig the edge of ur blade in between the mainbody and the plug and give a little twist.
Dont mind the bits of encrusted pieces left on the plug. It will regrow.
