I really want to plumb in a clarisea 5000 in my reefer 450 and was wondering how hard and how to remove the filter sock trays and two glass walls that are in the sump. I assume just go at with a fresh box cutter knife?

Wouldn't think it would be too difficult as long as they're just siliconed in. I don't know if I would try it with water in the sump though. Just in case.

Get a pack of single edged razor blades. You might not be able to get the correct angles with the box cutter. Definitely drain the sump to be safe too.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
