I’m planning on removing some rock from my aquarium but I don’t want to accidentally remove any snails or other marine life that might be hiding in the rocks
What’s the best way to get the marine life to abandon the rocks after removing them from the tank

A visual inspection should be enough to check for anything clinging to the rock.

If it’s live rock it’s probably full of microfauna, do you have all kind of things come out after lights out? Can you move the rock to the sump?
