I have a marineland 150 DD and was wondering if anyone has ever removed there top molding before. I don't believe it is bracing the glass very much. Please let me know what you think and if you have ever accomplished this task. I just want that CLEAN rimless look. Thanks

The trim is structural. Removing it on anything larger than a 10g would most likely result in a cracked tank. It may not look very structural, but I've seen a 29g bust open because someone took the trim off.
