Repairing EB8 blown TRIAC

So here's a question, the EB8 triac's are limited to 5amps according to their Apex's spec sheet, but the parts are 12amps @ 600volts from the factory. Are there other limiting factors that would make them only capable of 5amps? Reason being I hooked up a chiller (6 amp) to a triac and it works fine. It may run for 10-15 minutes and then hopefully shuts off for a few hours, but other than a thermal limit, or max output of the EB8 it's self, not sure why it's limited by spec to 5 amps?

Anyone have the relay part? I fixed all the triacs, but now the relay is making a clicking noise randomly...
