I bought a 36" coralife T5 high output dual light and want to replace the bulbs. What color bulbs should I get and can I use other brand bulbs since coralife doesn't have that many options?

T5 are pretty awesome for growth and coral health. I would focus on getting the appearance you want.

You could buy a few bulbs and try different combos to see what you prefer.

Blue plus, purple plus, and coral plus would be a good start.

There are a lot of threads on this subject.

I buy all of mine at Marine depot. ATI blue plus coral plus or actinic.
Geismann (sp.) Has some nice bulbs too. I run two of their aquablue coral bulbs. I don't like LED. Just me.
Hamilton makes 10K white if you're into that.
I buy extras and mess with the colors from time to time.

I have two of those fixtures over my 65 gallon with 3 ATI blue+ 1 actinic, supplementing my 3 AI primes
