What's everyone using to replace the aquamaxx/aquaready hang on back skimmer pumps? Came with a shark 1.0 but its not even strong enough to suck the water up the plastic pipe into the unit. Its not returnable so im screwed and have to find a better pump. Everything is sold out. What would be a good replacement that is maybe a little stronger?

I have an older unit i got maybe 2 years ago and has worked fine so not sure what's up with this dud.

Can you post a picture of your skimmer?

I actually got i working today. I put in next to my old one and found they never sealed/siliconed where the clear plastic bubble top cone thing comes out of the pump so it wasnt making a seal
