I had a 5 1/2" Harlequin Tusk that was my favorite fish and my Achilles Tang killed him a little while ago. Since then I decided not to get another Tusk so I can have a traditional CUC and have gotten several sand sifting critters and a Blood Red Fire Shrimp and they are currently in QT. I am looking at replacing the Tusk with a fish that's gets around the same size, openly swims all day and has nice colors, but everything I am finding is not. "Reef Safe". Now that I have gotten used to the idea of a traditional CUC, I really do not want to get any fish that will try to eat them.

I am reaching out to you experts for any suggestions on a fish that can compare to a Harlequin Tusk in attitude, size and appearance, but will not eat my CUC or coral. My current fish stock is as follows:

1 Achilles Tang
1 Purple Tang
1 Hippo Tang
1 Powder Blue Tang
1 Whitetail Bristletooth Tang
1 One Spot Foxface
1 Coral Beauty
1 Splendid Dottyback
1 Neon Dottyback
2 Banggai Cardinal
2 Black & White Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Blue/Green Chromis

Any suggestions are much appreciated!!!

Wow. How big of a tank? I love my Quoyi Parrot but not sure he “openly” swims all day. He is very active when lights are on though.

Peaceful as can be, but any aggressiveness towards it could be disastrous

Currently they are in a 160 gallon, (RS 750 XXL) but the Achilles and Hippo will be going into a 300 - 400 gallon tank, (haven't decided yet) in about two years. The others will all be staying.
