Hey. I have an ancient Oceanic trickle filter 75 that I got with a free 58g tank and stand years ago. Been holding onto it cause it is so nicely made and there just has to be a use for it but...I don't want to use it lol Not as it is anyways. Anyone have any thoughts about other uses for this fossil? (Pic not mine)

Just fill it with live rock instead of bioballs.
There are so many other better options out there though that I could never bring myself to do this. Just the space it takes up to serve that single purpose of bio filtration I could install an entire sump (and that is what I use). But live rock is a way better option than bioballs, that is true. Thanks

Maybe convert to an algae turf scrubber? Hard to tell if It's big enough though.
It is the size of a 20g. Hmm I will have to think about that, about how it could be done and if it would be worth it. Thanks!
