I picked this T5 work light out of the recycle bin at work and decided to make it work for my tank.

The first thing I did was pull the internals. The ballast was shot so I grabbed a T5 Ballast from BRS.

Start reassembly and test to make sure things are working.

The BRS ballast was longer than the old one so I had to mount it to the top of the light.

Its working good and adds a little more light to the tank. The bulbs are ATI coral+ 36".

Very nice.
I might put some kind of heavy duty tape to cover the exposed electrical leads to protect them from salt creep
