Funnel the sand through a length of PVC pipe to the bottom of the ank. That will minimize clouding in an already filled tank.

But also RINSE the new sand really well so it can't create a cloud to begin with. Famously 'not cloudy' sand is Tropic Eden Reefflakes.

Also, try to to totally smother any existing sand with a thick layer of new stuff, better to do it a little at a time.
