Can rescaping a fully stocked tank cause any "real" problems. I just need to try to make more room for new coral additions.

shouldn’t there may be some issues if you have a DSB and it has not been agitated ever. This could release anaerobic bacteria’s into the water.

Never had a problem here. I do so a fair amount. As others said, if you have a DSB, then be more careful, but still, that should only be an issue if it has gone stagnant in some area.

About a 2" bed but i ll be careful to leave as much alone as I can. Got to try to make room...somehow.

I would just have plenty of water on hand to do some water changes and test the water parameters. Looks like you have some great growth going on!! :)

Having too many corals is a good problem to have!!!!
yea in a way. Ive been selling a few to make room for some new sps. Im in denial about needing a bigger tank. Ive got to make this one work for a little longer until I can $wing for a bigger one.

Thanks. Some stuff I can grow easy and others not so easy...The big orange monti started as a frag of the smaller one below it. The bigger green birdsnest was a frag of the smaller one to the far right. The big green milli was a 1" frag this time last year but I got a blue one at the same time and it hasnt grown much at all. The duncans to the far left were 6 larger heads last july but the heads have gotten smaller but its about 26 heads now. The candy cane my wife got 6 heads 3 years ago but now its huge and the clowns call it home. It takes up alot of realestate but I cant get rid of their home.

Yea setting up a new tank can really put a strain on the wallet...
