My tank was mainly setup for softies and has some issues now:
I had a extreme mushroom explosion, overgrowing all my rocks and other corals except for my Capnella
My bubble tip anemone is growing so fast and splitting about 3 times per year. It is getting more of a nuisance than a nice addition to the tank.
Of course my measurements are a "bit" on the high side now Nitrates 30 ppm, Phosphate 0.25 ppm

My goal is to take out all the mushrooms, the anemone's and do a major water change.

My plan is now to:
- 3 weeks before, i'm adding some fresh dry rocks to the sump
- Replace all the rocks in the display tank with any mushrooms on it with fresh dry-rock that's about 80% of the rocks
- Take out the Anemone
- Rinse the sand, i have a very thin layer, less than 1/2"
- Do a 80% water change
- Lower the lights with at least 50% for a couple of weeks.
- Of course I keep feeding the fish

Is there anything that I overlooked or can do better?
