Scientific Name - Dascyllus reticulatus

Common Name - Reticulate Dascyllus

Size - 3.1" (8 cm)

Min. Aquarium Size - 20 US Gal. (76 L)

Foods and Feeding - Varied diet for omnivores, carnivores, herbivores, live, frozen, flake marine fare. Feed min. 2 times a day.

Reef Compatibility - Excellent.

Captive Care - Will eat filamentous algae, and will not harm invertebrates, an excellent reef fish, very likable as a juvenile which can be keep in groups, however, as the fish matures it's true disposition as a very aggressive fish will emerge, keep only in a moderately aggressive community tank and only with tank mates that can defend themselves, keep only one or a mated pair per tank, provide hiding places especially when young, this fish is a very hardy, boisterous, fish that fares relatively well in an aggressive environment, will eat most anything offered.
