I have a 26g tank with a pair of clowns that have turned mean and nips at new fish that are timid. For example pajama cardinal and fire fish. These fish just stay there and let the clowns eat their fins. I wanna add one more fish that would take the other end of the tank cause my clowns only stay on one end so its a boring tank with no fish on the other end. I was thinking diadema dottyback but know they are aggressive. Ive had a bicolor/royal dottyback before and it was pretty aggressive but nothing very bad. So now with a pair of clowns that have turned abit mean, i think i can only add another mean fish that can defend itself until the clowns stop bugging it which is usually 2-3 days after adding based on experience adding a blenny few months ago.

Do you think a dottyback will be ok with a pair of clowns? Is there any other fish i can add if not a dottyback? Cant add timid fish, they just cant take the first 2 days of sorting things out.
