Love the cover. I was disappointed that they did not make covers for their tanks. How do you like it? What would you do differently, if any?

I love these tops, they make such a fine product, well worth the money, make sure you get the feeding option. No light is lost which makes me very happy.

I like the 525xl's footprint, when we were looking at houses after the fire and saw this one that wall and another in the dinning room it screamed tanks. I always wanted on in the eat-in kitchen since that seems to be a major gathering spot. So far there is nothing I would do different, this is first tank I bought a controller but after the fire normal power strips scare me so figured the apex 8 bars would be good, I made sure that a casual leak or drip would never touch them with the way I angled the mounting board.

I need to reach out to some of the sponsors I bought corals from a month or two before the fire and see if they can help me restock some, live stock was not covered in the insurance and seems none cover living things.

Well the tank is ready for corals, I had a huge garden of zoas and different yumas and am looking to replace as many as possible, don't care about name just different colors/shades. Not looking for handouts just an FYI just can't pay the 50+ a polyp that I see asking at some sites for ones I had, the insurance did not cover anything alive and hit me hard on all my equipment since in their estimate it was used all day everyday. So if anyone has a great selection and willing to help me out with some fragging I would be grateful. My fire is listed on the 1st page.

Really sorry to hear about your terrible misfortune. I can only imagine how devasting this could have been. It is nice to see that you have a new tank setup again and are getting ready to start adding corals :-) Unfortunately i live in Norway so sending frags would be tough. But i have asked a mod about possibly setting up a donation thread which i would happily donate some money to help you on your way. I am a huge zoa fan myself. Best of luck with the new tank :-)
