I’m needing some flow behind my rock work. I have plenty of power heads. But I am growing Cyano on my sand. I am wondering if there would be any issues with running my return jets to behind the rock work and blasting the sand from back to front.

I wouldn't put the return so low in the aquarium, siphon break or otherwise. You could have the return shoot straight down no problem :) If the sand isn't heavy enough, put a small rock there.

You could look into using powerheads in the back pointed straight up. The flow hits the surface and then rolls over and creates a current that flows down the rock work and onto the sand. This might help with the issue.

 Oh my. I knew about the siphon just wasn’t thinking of that thanks for the reminder.. I do have backflow prevention on it but definitely something to keep in mind
