I am an AC guys still... only DC pumps that I would consider reliable are well over $1k. Ehiem, Tunze, Fluval and Laguna are great pumps that run a long time, stay pretty quiet and don't use a ton of wattage.

1260 would probably even be fine, so that or 1262.

I'm using a sicce syncra 3.0 on my 120g
Tunze and fluval also good choices for ac (I also prefer ac returns)

I like 5x turnover for return, this is usually plenty

Just looked at the Tunze electronic controllable pump rated for 780 gph,
would this work for this size tank?
